TENURE-TRACK POSITION IN INORGANIC CHEMISTRYThe Department of Chemistry at Rutgers University-Newark invites applications for a tenure-track position in inorganic chemistry. Candidates with research interests in all areas of inorganic chemistry, including catalysis, electronic/magnetic materials, bioinorganic, and solid state chemistry are strongly encouraged to apply. While we anticipate hiring at the assistant professor level, exceptional candidates at the associate professor level may be considered. The hire will be expected to establish a vigorous, externally funded research program and to teach at both graduate (PhD & MS) and undergraduate levels. A Ph.D. in chemistry and at least 2 years of postdoctoral experience are required. Competitive start-up funds commensurate with the needs of the specific area will be provided. The anticipated starting date is September 2018. The Department of Chemistry has enjoyed a period of dynamic growth over the past decade with a strong emphasis on excellence in research.
