Ph.D. Degree Learning Goals and Assessment

The overarching aim of the Chemistry Ph.D. Program is to provide students with advanced knowledge and skills that are necessary in order to establish fully independent research careers in the future. The graduates are expected to be able to conceive, design and supervise research projects in industrial and academic settings, as well as instruct and train junior members of the research team.

Learning Goal 1: Acquisition of fundamental knowledge of modern chemistry.
